Default Must I drop the fuel tank? 94 LX

I have 94 Lx and I've seen threads saying you have to drop the fuel tank to install a fuel pump, and I've seen other threads saying you don't have to drop the fuel tank. Can it be done through the trunk where the sending unit is or like the title says must I drop the tank. Thanks

If you read what I wrote I have googled it, that's why I said I've read threads that say you do and I read threads that say you don't. You don't have to be a f/-\g about it and I've read that thread already. You shouldtry reading sometimes it says "That's not always possible for all years/models."

You could cut a hole in the trunk?

Are you getting voltage to the pump?

I cut a hole out for it and put two shall hinges in it and a catch tab with seal around it so that its easily accessible.
