They checked the EGR today, they said its the electronic part of it thats throwing the CEL. So he's gonna get me a price on that part on Monday. I also have to replace the passenger side axle shaft. For some reason, although the accord axle shafts are meant to work just fine, this one has a broken clip on it. Its leaking a small amount of the transmission fluid. I want to get that done ASAP.
I'm gonna get my suspension done too (I have the 2 rear AGX, I am about to buy the front 2). One weird thing, right when I'm about to start moving in 1st gear, the car shudders a bit before it actually starts rolling dependent on what RPM I engage at...its kinda weird...its almost as if the suspension on the car cant handle the power being fed to the wheels. Any ideas on that?
I also threw in my 4300k HID set.
Another question. I am about to change out the struts because one of the rears is clicking when i go over a bumpy road. I am swapping in my set of KYB AGX...should i change the springs too? They are 3 year old Neuspeed Sports...? Any opinions on that?
I already own the AGX's but any input or opinion on them is appreciated.

So the Mugen grill I paid good money for turned out to be a piece of ****. It was broken right where the screws go into the chassis so it wouldnt sit right, then on top of it all, it doesnt seem like a real Mugen, it doesnt have their logo on it anywhere. Anyhow, i filed a claim with paypal for my 155 back. [freak]ing guy in Malaysia, hopefully i get my money back.

I live in NJ, my swap was done at a shop in Carteret, its a gas station and a mechanics garage. Its called Costa & Joao BP. Its on Roosevelt Avenue. They specialize in motor swaps for Hondas, Nissans and Mitsu's. I actually found the owner on here, I had made a thread and he left me a message to give him a ring etc... We just went from there.
They are very professional, no bullshit, their prices are fair and now they work on and do maintenance for 3 of my cars (soon to be 4 and maybe a 5th if I get the VolksWagen I'm low-balling someone on). I think so far with them I've spent upwards of 5-6k, and more practically every week. Just today I had them put on my summer wheels/tires on my speed6. Next week they're going to do suspension work on my Honda. They've done synthetic oil changes for my Mazda and my Toyota. Other stuff.
Excellent work, knowledgeable, no bullshit. When/If you go there, ask for Steve.

Re: (Conflicted)
trust me the grille you purchased is fake. Whether or not the seller labled it as "mugen" im sure he threw the word "style" in there as well. Unless its fiberglass and it has a mugen stamp on the underside, the one you purchased is fake. And the chances of you getting your money back are slim to none.
nice work none the less.

Re: (Conflicted)
the best header to get is a DC Sport header... the best belts to get is Gates... dont use stock motor mounts it would be better to use hasport mounts or get solid mounts... it will break the factory back and top mount... you might have to change the throttle cable and the shift linkage... you might want to change the timming belt [ with Gates... MUST!!! ] and the water pump before you put it in because it is easier...

Well I filed a claim with paypal, and its obviously too late for the guy to go back and change the ebay page, so I hope they will see things my way. If thats the case I will then put a stop on my credit card and they can fix it. I am gonna get my money back, one way or another.
This is the original link to the one I purchased.

The guy has a huge bold fonted banner stating its not fake. The thing is a cheap piece of ****.

All done bro. I decided on OEM belts. Everything you mentioned was done including about another $1500 more in new OEM parts.

Re: (Conflicted)
yeah I live in Atlanta Georgia but I wouldnt mind taking it up there to get it done cause I want it done right and everything and now that Ive seen how well they did yours I might do that!
But Im deffenetly going to have to save up for a little while longer, my budgets even lower than yours! haha
Thanks for the awesome write-up man it really has given me a ton of info that other places were just super 'wishy washy' about!

Its [freak]ed up because right in the guys ebay item description, he says, NOT FAKE!
Right now its gone from a dispute to a claim, hopefully I get my money back, or some of it, or i'm going to speak to citicards and have them pursue it. Paypal can deal with them.
Paypal are pieces of ****, and they tend to try and cheat people too. Its cut and dry but i bet you they give me some bullshit explanation about how the seller is due his money, i bought the product, blah blah. I even took down my bank account information from their website too. I am glad its only really 120 bucks and not substantially more.

I picked up a relatively new set of RSX seats today for 750, black, leather. I cant wait to get those in. I'm gonna see how much this guy I know charges me to put them in. I have to get me a set of those seat lock lugs that the S2000 guys are putting in their cars.

How hard would it be to install the electronic climate control from a 97-99 acura into my 94 accord? Is it considerably tough? I am looking into taking the entire interior of an Acura CL coupe and transplanting it into my accord coupe. I want to use the dash and everything, however, their slot for their electronic climate control is smaller than the area the 94-97 Accord has on the dash for its climate control & ***** etc...

Re: (Conflicted)
Nice seats! Do you have black leather interior or is it just going to be the front seats?
I just saw a pair of the exact same seats with CB7 rails on them for $600 on Kijiji.

The rear seat is leather, the door panels have leather inserts in them. The rest of the car will be a mix of micro-suede and whatever the stock material consists of. I cant wait for it to all come together. The entire interior should be black when all is said and done.

Need opinions...I spent 200 bucks, got the entire rear suspension from an Acura CL coupe...
question is this. All parts are intact and work...so, should I stick with what I have right now, buy a set of brake pads from auto zone and buy new rotors down the road...spend the money elsewhere on the car, or, should I load up on some powerstop rotors for the front and rear, and some hawk pads for the front and rear?
