Lowering springs and struts
Hi All,
Was thinking of dropping my accord with the skunk 2 lowering springs, but I'm trying to install it without replacing the struts. Would this be a good idea since I have 129k on it, without changing the struts.
Thanks

Re: Lowering springs and struts (Acco12dv6)
A lot of places recommend the struts/shocks get changed every 50k. With you milage I'd get new ones at the same time as springs install. Do the job once.

Definitely replace the struts too! With the lowered springs I bet those old struts will bottom out easily. Run some KYB GR2's if you're on a budget.
