Re: lowering springs (erck)
I didn't want to start a new thread so I figured this was a good one to tag along with. I am new to the site and just purchased my first accord. I picked up a 94 EX the previous owner had put some coil over springs on it. I can't find any identifying marks to find out what the springs are. I am not sure if the stock shocks have been changed out or not, no notable markings on those either. I think that they are ebay specials. I am guessing by the stance that the car is dropped pretty much all the way is there any way to figure out what the drop is? I love the look but hate the uneven tire wear and the really bumpy ride. I would like to just get rid of the system that is on it now and just get some lowering springs and shocks any suggestions on what all i should put on?

Don't know if this was asked, but do Pro-Kits provide a stock-like ride or better? My accord rides pretty smooth and I don't wanna give that up. Most likely won't drop it 'til spring but I wanna know in case I need more parts so I can search for deals..Thanks later

I love mine, but I need more of a drop to get the look I want...... Springs with the factory shocks, NO PROBLEM!!!!!

I have some 17's on my 96 with a 2" gap in the back and 2.25" in the front. I bought some H&R Sport Springs. I was going to get some Tokico Blue's but I heard the go out pretty quick. So I'm looking into getting some Koni's should I got with the red's or the yellow's ? Does anyone have that set up H&R's with Koni's?

Re: (k8bcronic)
I heard the yellows are better than the reds not sure though. I have neuspeed race (yellow) springs on my 97 accord wit 17" rims. My front tires are eaten up badly on the inside. I need camber kits. Either SPC or INGaLLS. I'm planning to get the kyb agx because it can adjust the ride from soft to stiff in a instant. Also the Ground Controls are a second choice to take out the neuspeed and replace it with the GC. My bro has pro-kits on stock shocks, his ride is much softer than my neuspeeds on stock shocks. But i believe any sort of drop even from pro-kits to as low as u can go, you will sooner or later need some camber kits.

I've got about a 2" drop all around and no camber kit needed.
I've got about 1.5 degrees neg in front and about .75 in the rear. That won't cause ecessive tire wear.

The Rims look Pretty big on that car, I would personally get Some KYB AGX struts, or Tockico Blues
with some eibach sportline springs, If you look you can get all of it for less that 500 bucks

Re: (erck)
camber kits are used to make it so your wheels are aligned right and so you wont have bad tire wear on the inside of your tires. You also save a lot of money on tires if you get a camber kit. camber kits only needed for lowered cars. if you know how to install springs den it'll be the same to install shocks.
