Default lil help with my 96 honda accord ex.

Welll My Lower ball joint is screwed and my Drive shaft. sooo i bought the parts etc... my problem is when i take my rim off, i have the 36mm huge socket... welll its not loseing in anyway. i tryed both ways, jumping on it with a torque bar... i toook the "tab" off in middle of the 36mm bolt. not suree what im doing wrong. i tryed a bar across the lug nut thread to stop the movement in rotor.

I just finished taking mine apart and it was a bitch even on a work bench with a Vice. What I had to do was bend back the "tab" and then soaked it with WD-40. Let it sit for a few minutes and then hit it with a torch for a few minutes. If you don't have access to an torch you can pick up a BernzOmatic MPS Gas 16 oz'r that will work great for a few bucks. While your heating it you want to focus the flame on the nut itself and try to avoid heating the spindle. After heating it up I sprayed it with more WD-40 then hit it with a 3' breaker bar. It took a bit but it finally came loose.

Put the wheel back on with the center cap removed. Put the car on the ground. Have somebody step on the brake while you loosen the nut.

I agree with the above.

Make sure that you've bent the side of the nut back out where it was center-punched.

I use PB Blaster instead of WD-40, it is a lot better. It WILL come loose, if you have a lot of trouble getting it loose, use a longer handle.

I literally just did this last weekend, you don't want to slowly apply pressure to the breaker bar, you want a sharp thrust with everything you've got on your breaker bar, that will make the nut "wink" and as we all know, if she'll wink, she'll screw.

hahahha nice lil "wink" comment. haha..

anyways we used the breaker bar, jumped on it and added a polle. i think i might try the wd 40 n a torch. n thing is.. i weigh 200 lbs... n i cant get it to "wink" when i jump on it.

i also pulled the tab back on the center on the nut. i acually took it right off. would i have to take the 4 bolts off around the "nut" or what that be for taking rotor off?

Yeah, don't remove those bolts, they won't help.

I'm surprised that it hasn't come loose yet, you are turning it the correct way right?

I know that it sounds stupid but sometimes I don't think about it and I'll be wrenching on something over at my Father's shop and I'll be having trouble with something coming loose when he'll calmly step over and say, "Son, I think it's tight enough."

I too weigh 200 lbs, I used a three foot breaker bar and a three foot pipe on the handle of that giving me a total lever length of around five-and-a-half feet, when I jumped on the bar it broke loose the third time. Some of these shops with impact wrenches go way to tight on things like this.
