There is absolutely no way you could convert a manual to an auto. It wouldn't be worth the time or money. Just sell it and buy a new one that's an auto. Or let teach your daughter to drive a stick. Its not that hard.[/QUOTE]

I tend to agree with you that learning stick would be the easiest route. But which is it? "absolutely no way" or "It wouldn't be worth the time or the money"?

Anything is possible, obviously.

But reworking the ENTIRE harness, TCU, etc. < Learning to drive a manual.

Why do you have an annoying fart can for the muffler? I bet it gets on your nerves while driving that ricer. Noise pollution.....

Its a Megan M-GT 2.5" Muffler, not some cheap eBay kit. Have you seen any of the other pictures of my car? Or did you even see the build log? Get out of here if you're going to be a ****.

Not to mention it has a deep, nice sounding, NON raspy tone which is rare on a lot of Honda's. Driving like a decent purpose also goes a long way.

Why didn't you use the factory clutch lines?

Anyways, I am hopefully going to be doing this swap soon. How long did it take you to do this and what was the advantages of having a manual transmission, do you think its was well worth it? I understand that there are power + control gains to be had but in your words what does it do thats so great?

Faster, cheaper, more durable, longer lasting, lighter, less maintenance. I didn't use the factory lines because they are bulky and ugly.

It took me two weeks because I managed to break three lug studs in the process and I replaced all the ball joints with OEM ones which took time to arrive. It was over Christmas break so I took my dear time.

Inspiration for my Auto to 5 Speed swap! Looks like a great job well done, and hopefully I won't have any real issues when it comes to my turn.

nice work! I tackled this job on a cb9 and was much easier than the cd chassis imo.

looks great man! I did this same project a couple years back. Took about a week in my garage. Pedals took quite a bit of tlc haha. I went with a ACT stage 3 clutch. Been good to me since! Way way way better than the slushbox

Autos have their place. I did this swap over 6 months back and honestly, I wouldn't mind having my auto again. The manual is good but autos are cool, especially an older Accord auto like the one I had, was a low JDM miles unit and worked very good. Not for performance but just the value of the thing itself was awesome. More technology, better driveability, and the fact its an older Honda model is even better.

An auto H22, now that would be nice as a DD.
