What country are you in?
- If you're in the US, you do not have a 1.8L Accord. A 2001 Accord in the US is 2.3L.
- It's not 'vtech' it is 'vtec'. It stands for Variable Valve Timing and Lift Electronic Control.
- The 'model number' that people use is from the VIN, 4-6 characters give you the values. Example is 1HGCD5xxxxxxxxxxxx. CD5 is the designator for a 94-97 USDM Honda Accord Sedan.
- The 'generation' I would assume would be similar to the US which is 6th generation, but I'm unsure how it translates to other counties.

Re: need some info on my accord
Im in England, it is the 1850cc vtec, i thought it was going to be really underpowered but it is actually very good to drive. Although i will be fitting a different engine in the future, preferably a 2.2 type r lump, but im new to the honda scene so need to figure out what will fit and what i need...
Ive already been told that i should use the b18c gearbox with an adaptor plate as they are a better gearbox
