I purchased a '83 Accord new and put about 30,000 on it before I sold it.
I purchased a '95 Prelude new (wife's DD). I think it had about 91,000 on it when we sold it.
I purchased a '91 Accord with 153,000. It had 224,000 when it got stolen. Running strong.

Still push it on the highway for 60km every day.

AC and cruise control don't work but gets me from a to b pretty fast.

1999 accord has 167,000 miles. Notice that I burn through more oil btwn oil changes. Car runs good but suspension problems pop up here and there. Inspection is due in Apr 2013 but won't pass emissions test. Hope to have my sights on a brand new honda by then!

Bought in in April 2003 w/ 32k. Changed timing belts at 120k

I have an 01 Accord EX with the V6 and it has 268K on it. I think it is getting ready to go as I hear a light ticking noise from it that isn't too bad. Has anyone ever rebuilt one of these engines? I was thinking about just dropping in some new bearings. I know the auto transmission needs replaced soon also. When I am on a hill and put it in gear it makes a loud clunk noise and when I step on the gas and it down shifts it jerks pretty bad. Anyone else have a J30A1 with more miles on theirs? How many miles do these engine last till they go? I know the auto transmissions are a problem and usually don't last very long. We replaced the front wheel bearings and the timing chain. I've also been having trouble with the ABS and TCS. The lights sometimes come on and go off randomly. I replaced one of the front wheel ABS sensors but that did not solve the problem.
