I (unknowingly) purchased one of the most fabled mystical Hondas, a 1999 Honda Accord EX V6 with the infamous BX7A transmission with 194805 miles on it...with the orginal transmission which was doomed to fail between 90K-125K miles!!!. I was fairly impressed, until I got on the highway last week and felt a hesitation between the 2nd and 3rd shift. The short of it is that now I am faced with a burnt clutchpack and a transmission rebuild in my very near future.

I am now at 212,000 miles. My Accord is officially High Milage now. I am hoping to make it to 300,000 without major problems...

Around 300,000 (original speedo/odo has been replaced with a lower mileage one)
20,000 on bottom end (rebuilt) around 1000 on rebuilt heads.

220K with ORIGINAL timing belt. car is down due to accident but I can still sit in the driveway and rev the **** out of her like she just got out the factory. Love HONDA's.

1997 Accord EX coupe, 5-spd. Trans just went out and will have to buy a rebuilt one. Bought from the original owner for $800 and I drive it just for work.

210k, it's not running to bad either minus a blown strut. Only had rear quarter panel rust, fixed it now it looks new.

213k miles here, just changed the timing belt and water pump in it not even 500miles ago, planning on seafoaming before the next tuneup here. I expect many more miles outta her.

227K Miles on ye olde F22B1 '95 EX. Transmission, not so many, ~31K miles if the 30K bit is true about the Japanese import stuff.

310 on car 0 miles on spanking H22 swap will start tomorrow or thursday. Need to finish it. Had a 90 I sold with 512k to a guy in 06. I saw the car in 2010 with 610k on it. Worked on a 03 in 08/09 with 460k. Have seen countless number of 300k 90-93s and even more 200k+ 94-02s. Hell, I put a timing belt on an 08 a couple of weeks ago with 106. Highest mileage yet of the newest gen I have seen.
