Few questions...
Welll i had some problems with suspension, so i fixed driveshaft,balljoint(lower right side) alternator because it was seized....belts n all... welll my problem is when i started my car after, it was running fine but my battery light is on.. since this happened. my battery isnt that old... just bought it ffew months ago... just lost receipt so im not sure if i can bring it back... im thinkin of getting it tested.. wud the alternator kill my battery since its pretty much brand new?
another question is when i drive im getting a lil clickin noise... im thinkin mabe my break shield is mabe bent? any oppinions?
n last but not least... i got my ball joint in... to a point... i cant get it ne farther where i can put the lock ring on... so i was thinkin mabe hit a bump n it will snap in place.. n place lock ring on? does this lock ring have to be on anyways? or can i just leave it out... its not like it will pop out the top..
any help would be great. cars beeen off road for month.... thanks.

a bad alternator will kill the battery, because when the car is running it is only running off the battery with a bad alternator which in turn will drain it because the alternator recharges the battery when the car is running so without it its not getting recharged. as for the ball joint i would work on trying to figure out how to get it all the way in i dont recommend driving it without the lock ring, i honestly dont know why it is there but i do know that its there for a reason. the clicking could be your half shaft or what you said that i dont know.
