Default how to change fuel filter

I got a 2000 accord 4cyl. Just wondering if someone has a diagram on how to change the fuel filter. My car seems to be dying on me when i start it sometimes, thinking maybe that will help it. Thanks

It's a sock on the end of the fuel pump pickup inside the gas tank.
if it was plugged up you would have other problems like stumble under throttle.

the other guy must have it confused with the pump. the filter is in the egine bay near the firewall 99% of the time.

I also want to change mine but don't know how. I mean I know, but i need to know how difficult it would be for me to do it.

Correct me if im wrong. I believe from 6th gen accord (like yours) You don't have a filter. The 5th gen accord do.

its on the firewall! on the passenger side I have a 90 accord. I installed mine 20min very simple wrench sizes are 10cm 12cm an 11/16 socket. ADVISE YOU USE THE WASHERS! ARE YOU WILL BE SQUIRTING GAS.

don't mean to hijack, but how much of a difference will a fuel filter really make with regards to mileage? my mileage has gone to absolute **** since about december ...i've done plugs, plug wires, air filter, o2 sensor, and had it aligned ... i'm still about 5mpg less than i have been in the same months over the past 7 years. (95lx)??

'99 and newer have a returnless fuel system with no canister fuel filter it is a sock screen type deal in the tank.

there could possibly be some correlation with the change in the gas mixture....with the newer blend and possbily summer blend, the gas mileage will go down.
