Honda Accord SUCKS gas
I have an '01 Honda Accord EX 2.3L. Can anyone help me with my gas mileage prob. I have changed the distributor cap & rotror, spark plugs & wires, and air filter. Honda dealership told me that you shouldn't have to replace my fuel filter. I use to get 350 miles out of a tank of gas & now I get 250 or less to the tank. I haven't changed my driving habits. There is no change in mileage after I have done the tune-up. No service engine light & no codes set. Can anyone help me out???????????? PLEASE HURRY GAS IS GETTING HIGHER!!!!!!!

I also noticed a decrease in mpg a month or two ago, and found out my EGR valve was working improperly(shuddering problem), so we disconnected it and mpg improved somewhat but should do better with a new one though. This was after replacing spark plugs, wires, distributor cap, etc. and before cleaning k&n filter. I was getting about 275 miles on a tank and now I'm getting closer to the normal of 350 miles now.
