Type R accord was only in Europe

SiR was in Japan, along with the Euro R.

in gt3 they have the euro r and from what i gathered, it was an exotic version of the f22 that are in the 5th gens. am i right or wrong? or since it was a 6th gen car (in gt3) the engine was completly diff?

and ive also done some searching, not a whoel lot, but a for alil while on where to get the euro engine at. any clue there?

F20 you mean.

Other SiRs had the H22a
The SiR wagon with the H23

for 5th gen accord (94-97)s the only "sporty" version was the SiR, which came with H22A. the 6th gen accord came in a Euro-R (H22A7), Saloon Type R (h22a?...also a very different looking body style) and the SiR/SiR-T (F20 DOHC)

actually he is right. the usdm acura tsx is really a accord euro r. and the sir-t accord came with the 2 liter f20 dohc motor. regular sir came with h22a. i've actually heard of an h22 awd 6 speed that came in a wagon. i've yet to believe that but if anyone knows about it shed some light on the subject.

Yes there is awd in a select few hondas overseas. And im gonna pick up an f20b soon, I had a mechanic tell me it will fit to my f23 5 speed,(I Wonder, I know it will come from an auto) and also noones ever directed me towards good parts atleast header, intake. They may be in japan but I know they are made someone would of supported this jdm car in production for a few years surely. Thanks later

in europe, the bodys looked drastically different for the 5th gen, and slightly different for the 6th gen. saloon = sedan

ive never heard of it, i have heard of a DOHC VTEC H23 that came in a wagon . . . but it only came in an auto and from what i can find, put down no more power or torque than the base h22

that was actually where the h23vtec came from...and i believe it was mated to a 5 speed actually...but it's the only true h23vtec, and yes, they were extremely rare!

it's actually just the regular accord...the euro r has a better motor...

actually, that's false...from 5th gen and back, the accords were the same here as they were in japan...but the 6th and 7th gen accords we have here in america were called the inspire in japan...the 6th gen accord in japan and europe were also smaller than the ones in america...the inspire was the largest of the hondas...also, the european 5th gens were different than the ones in america and japan as well...slightly more integra looking than what we had here...
