Haha my question might seems dumb, but how to pop the hood if my wire broke.. i tried to open the fuse box at feet to see if i can see the wire, but i'm block by the foot rest thinggy

Where did the wire break?
If the under dash handle came off you can remove the foot rest by unscrewing the plastic screws/nuts on the dead pedal.
If the handle/wire broke at the latch, you might be able to reach past the grille with a long trim(thin blade) screw driver and pull the lever to unlatch the main lock. But I cannot recall if the '96/'97 grille has the Honda 'H' in the way or getting to the main latching mechanism.

this happen to me last summer. and reaching through the grille did not work at all for me what I have been doing is reaching through the bumper to where the hood latch is and on the back side theres a little tab which the wire pulls. you have to push it towards the driver side. and yes I still have not fixed it.

Actually it's like unattached off the handle but i can feel the wire if i put my fingers behind the handle ( Sorry for my bad english im french )

If you have to, you can remove the splash guard and reaching up insert a screwdriver in the latch and twist.

are you sure it's only the cable? it may be the latch. happened to me last summer.

Actually it's this little round thingy : that broke.. i managed to open in, using locking pliers and pullin on the wire
