Help with wipers
There's nothing mechanically wrong with the wipers, but they leave horrible streaks after like 2 days I replace them. I've tried cleaning the windshield extensively and tried almost every type of wipers.
Has anyone else been through this? It's not much of an issue now because it's summer, but I live in Seattle so when the other 3 rainy seasons come, it will become an issue again.
BTW, this doesn't really matter, but this is for my 95' Accord.

Re: Help with wipers (Shinbo)
hmm..weird, just sounds like shitty wipers to me i guess *shrugs*..maybe u got sum weird liquid on ur blades when installing em and there leaving streaks?? i dunno...maybe u should go try those expensive PIAA silicone wipers, they sound pretty nice, im thinking bout buying sum for myself, since i live in the NW also, so 20 bucks for wipers wont be to bad i guess since i'll be using em 9 months outta the year

In the wiper blades, are all the pivots getting loose, so the blade isn't held straight? Get new blades, not just refills.
Twist the wiper arm so the rubber blade is as straight/square to the glass as possible.
I have had the glass surface screwed up (after getting a new windshield). I think the guys installing the windshield got glue all over the glass & they wiped it off. After cleaning several times with windex, then I tried alcohol, then ammonia. (careful for your paint) Eventually it sorta came off. That was a real PITA.

Re: Help with wipers (StockAccord)
I haven't tried that yet, but the next time it rains, I'll try that and see if I can replicate the streaks.

Re: Help with wipers (Shinbo)
A friend of mine had the same problem, wiper blades were on there tight and straight, problem turned out to be the spray on wax stuff at the quarter wash...he used to go there like every other day...and we found out that the more he was washing his car, this was happening whenever it rained afterwards...well, we took some grease cutter, cleaned the window and then some windex to clean off the grease cutter and he doesnt use that spray on wax anymore...actually did help. But his problem was never streeks really...it was that the wipers just werent getting the rain off the windshield unless it was raining REALLY hard.

Re: Help with wipers (Shinbo)
Get some (Rain X) and tighten the bolt that hold the windshield wiper arms to the car. Mine were loose a couple months ago.
