Default Help on upgrading

So I have a 94 Accord LX, with a F22B2, I currently have and intake, headers, catback exhaust and NGK spark plugs and wires. I'm trying to get the most power out of my engine. I have thought about swapping a H22 or just doing a head swap, but I think I'm best off just building my engine up now. Any suggestions or ideas on what I should do next? Help me out

How many miles are on the engine? F22/h22 hybrids can be sort of unreliable unless you know what you're doing. I don't know how experienced you are with Honda engines, but I usually recommend doing a full H22 or H23a vtec swap into Accords. I'm sure quite a few people would recommend the same

doing a h22 head on your F22 will not gain you much as it has a super low compression. A compleat H22 would yeld the best performance, but there are other options out there too for the accords. Short of boosting your F22 or doing internal things or a custom tune and hondata your at the top power for you F22.

127k. And I have a good amount of experience with honda engines. Ive taken apart a full b18 and rebuilt it and have done a lot of work and repairs with mine, including taking apart the whole head.

Thats why I have not gone toward swapping the head. And yes my only option now for things were new internals and or hondata. But yes it seems best to swap a H22

What are your goals and what will the car be used for? What kind of budget do you have to work with? Start there and decide on what direction to take.

If I H22 swap I want to make around 250hp, it'll be my daily. And I'm willing to put around 3-4k into the motor. I can get the complete motor with lsd tranny for $2500 shipped. Then after the swap I/H/E. And then what

So you goal is to increase the overall performance and keep it streetable as a daily driver (presumably not going to wild). I am also asuming that is 250 HP at the wheels is your goal. That doubles the power of your current setup.

So you have a budget of $2500 or that is just the engine budget alone?

You seem to lean toward an H22, any specific reason?

Also, what are your plans on suspension and braking?

nah, best thing you could fork some cash on right now is getting solid mounts. It will help get power to the ground. I wouldnt jump into a h22 head swap or engine swap just yet. You got 127k on the engine, incase you dont know... heres a little secret the guys on cb7t juice their F22's to 80hp MINIMUM stock and max any one ever did was 150HP juice jets I mean... your gonna swap to a h22 soon any way right?
