HELP! 95 Accord Viper Alarm System Removal
My girlfriend has a 95 Honda accord lx 4dr with the 2.2 non-vtec engine. The car has an aftermarket viper alarm system that i do not like and would like to remove. Im not quite sure how big of a job this is. Ive heard that the viper system is wired through the cars computer, if so how do i know how to rewire the stock system after ive removed the viper system? Any help would be greatly appreciated! thanks!

If it doesnt have an ignition kill, most of the time you can just pull the "brain" which is the box under the dash/steering column. In any case, most of the wires are just crimp-spliced in, so you just remove the wires that come off of that box.

What do you mean by ignition kill? If it means that if you lock the car with the viper alarm system fob, then unlock the car with the key, that the car will not even turn over(it just makes a clicking noise) then yes it has that.

Then there's a wire running from the brain to the ignition wire under the steering wheel. Easy thing to do: unplug all harnesses from the brain and see what happens. Worst case u plug it back in, but like I said if u just remove the wires coming from the brain and tape/shrink wrap where they spliced in your done. And remove the speaker/siren And its wire annnnd ur done. They're not wired into
The ecu just spliced into the harness to control door actuators, ignition kill, etc. U might have a shock sensor u pull too. A small box in some cases. U know what model viper?
