h22 accord: do i get a prelude or accord intake?
hey guys
my friend has an h22 swapped accord and he wants to get an intake. because of the h22 TB, will he need a prelude intake for fitment or an accord intake?
i think he wants a cold air also
thanks
-edit- i ran a search, but it wasnt very clear.

get one made for the accord engine bay and just put a bigger end sleeve to cover the throttle body. But I would bet that most of the accord ones would fit over the lude throttle body. Because my f22 short ram is still be used on my h22.

What year Accord?
I know for the 94-97 you want to buy the Prelude intake. The Prelude one has a larger diameter and will fit the Accord engine bay layout and you won't have any issues with fitment around the battery.

It's not that the Accord intake won't fit you just have to force the rubber cuppler onto the h22 throttle body because it is a larger diameter than the Accord throttle body.
If your going to buy a new intake then buy the Prelude one so that it is the same diameter as the throttle body. If you already have an intake prior to your swap use the Accord one and save some money.
