Default Is this a good $ for a 5speed conversion

A local person said he could do a 5 speed conversion in my 95 accord lx for $1,000 for f22 5 speed, $1,200 for a f23 5 speed thats parts and labor.
Or $550 if I supplied all the parts. Good deal?

it depends since you fail to mention what quality the parts (axles, clutch, flywheel, starter, ect...) are that would be used in the conversion and anything about the transmission (used, rebuilt)
