Default Getting P1298, help???

Hi guys,

I have 99 Honda Accord EX V6. The check engine light was on, then we had our code reader and it seemed that the car was throwing out code P1298. On the reader description (right below the code), it mentions "Fuel air/meter malfunction", but according the the book or forum about the code description, it says different thing that P1298 is the Electrical Load Detector Circuit High Voltage. I am really confused now of which one is the problem. I need help from you guys to find what may be causing the problem here. Thank you.

It's in the engine fuse box. Unfortunately you can't buy just the ELD, you have to buy the whole fuse box.

$117 new (#38250-S84-A22): http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/home.htm

Around $50 used: http://www.car-part.com/

I wouldn't recommend a used one for something like this tho.

Blown number 6 fuse in underdash fuse box because of the blk/yel alternator wire. Find and fix the damaged wire. Look around alternator wire. Hope this helps.
