FYI - Los Angeles Area Accord Junkyard Alert!
after a 2 year hiatus, I have visited the Ontario Pick-a-Part on Miliken this past friday. Damn, 4th gen accords have hit the cheapie yards. This is what I saw:
91 Accord LX - black, Auto, 146k on the odometer, missing the valvecover. 40% stripped. Good back bumper. Still had the alternator (denso), power steering pump, engine, auto TRANNY, intake manifold. Missing the throttle body/fuel rail. No steering wheel/ignition switch / combination switchs/ tailights/etc. Both front seats w/ lumbar adjust still there & no rips. front hit - probably still running but who knows. Power windows / motors / doorpanels stripped, 80% of interior intact (but now alittle dirty). Seats were unripped. Complete exhaust manifold + O2 SENSOR WERE STILL THERE! Again...this was a FRONT HIT (not too bad though).
92 Accord LX Special edition - white, no odometer, 90% very-very stripped but still had the FULL Moonroof assembly intact. No brakes/wheels/etc.
3 89-91 Legends - mostly intact though i didn't look at the brakes. I'm sure one or two of them still had the front calipers. One of them looked like a 1-owner car (burgandy).
7+ 86-89 Accords - mostly intact...i was surprised to see so many
3 86-89 integras - mostly intact. I was thinking about pulling the CPU for a CRX hop-up but then i remembered i don't have a crx.
Numerous 86-91 civics 4dr/2dr. No 92+ civics at all.
And for any VW enthusiats out there..lots of 86-89 jettas/golf's. No 91/92 bumpers/4headlight assemblies though....

haha...i see you were there recently. I remember that white legend coupe - pretty stripped.
Actually, there were 3-4 DSM's eclipse's there as of today, 11/21. One of them was pretty fresh. Hot tip: while i was wandering over to the european section, i saw DSM's in the domestic section (aka Talon's). At least one...maybe more.
I also saw a Starion but i didn't check it for anything.
Oh...and for you saturn luver's out there...there were a few virgin 92-94 SC1 "sport coupes" placed in the import section to ravage (thou they were unravaged).
