Re: Fastest 1/4 mile Street Accord
My POS has been making 620-660 WHP for 3 yerars now... 20K ish miles.... Cheyaaaaa... and I beat the SHIIIIIt out of it. REGULARLY. The biggest issue was blowing 14 tranys to ****. The Saenz straightcut set I got from Scott is holding up, not THE MOST OPTIMUM gearing (its realluy short, 5th gear is 1:1), but the reliability (now that i updated 3 and 4) is worth it. My car makes 475WTQ on racegas and it RIOPS through the short gears like a friggin streetbike goes through its....
OEM trannys fail pretty regularly north of 380ish WTQ... I was making that at 520 WHP (pump gas) at 17 PSI and still breaking them. Always second gear or fourth... WITH a Tilton FCV too, it wasnt the shock of the shifts, it wa just the tq was shearing all the teeth of of the gears. Ive posted pics of all the carnages before and am too lazy to do it again, but if you search youll find it... I still have the same set of OEM junkyard 5th gen lude (H series only ) axles in it too. Thats right OEM axles. Havent broke one yet on the street or the tracjk
:O)
The second most important thing to spending the money in the right places building it is spending the money correctly maintaining it.
Trust me.

Re: Fastest 1/4 mile Street Accord
Only had to take it out once to replace a broken 1-2 slider hub last year. Im going to take it out to do a visual after the mags photoshoot for the track, got slicks and were good to go. Im gonna turn the boost up (have a 4 Bar IN IT NOW) AND SEE HOW MUCH POWER THE FUEL SETUP WILL SUPPORT (Its STILL on stock cams lol). The turbos good for over 700, I wouldnt mind a 700WHP dyno sheet, but as everything is FINALLY staying together, im not really pushing hard for it. Im content with the power... Its smooth and beastly. 650 is nothing to scoff at and this motors been doing over 600 for over 2 years now.

Re: Fastest 1/4 mile Street Accord
I got my new time from last week,
1/4mile: 13.62sec
Speed: 107.5mph
60ft: 2.43sec
Weight Car: 1350Kg
Weight Me: 74Kg
I had issues with **** 60ft time, used MT street radials @ 21psi tire pressure and had massive bogging every pass even launching it at 6000rpm.
I'm trying 32psi tire pressure tonight and work my way down to about 28psi, get a slight wheelspin.

Re: Fastest 1/4 mile Street Accord
I tried feathering the clutch, so hard that I almost shat my pants. I'll try harder again, coz once adrenalin comes in things just meshes all over the place.
Drags in 2.5 hours see if I can break 12's
