Default F23 engine build

Hey everyone, new to this site and am looking for any help I can get. I have a 2000 Honda Accord with a 2.3L F23A1 and automatic transmission. I am currently collecting parts to do a cylinder head swap to H22A4 and hopefully a T2W4 manual transmission. was wondering a couple of things.
1) does anyone know the specifics on how to install the H22 crank gear on the F23 crank, what position and then how does it effect crank shaft position sensors
2) does anyone know where I can find final drive gears to change the tall final drive in the T2W4 to a more highway friendly 4.0:1 or lower?

Just get a whole H22A4 and swap your crank/rods into it. Or, do it the easy way and buy an H23A VTEC, don't worry about the extra 2mm of stroke the F23 crank provides, save some money, and get exactly what you want with 10000000x the reliability.

The T2T4's FD should swap tothe 4.062 of the more common F-series Accord transmissions without much worry, but it's probably not even worth it when there's a much more dramatic change to be had with an Accord 0.685 5th gear swap.

are the main bearing journals the same size between the H22, H23 and F23? why would I want an engine with the FRM sleeve when I have one with iron sleeves?

what is this 5th gear swap you speak of?

Seems like you need to do some more research. The H23A VTEC is what you're looking for, I'll let you do the research on that, as well as the 5th gear swap, instead of spoon feeding. FRM sleeves are not a problem, improper and poor maintenance/care is a problem. Bearing sizes are indeed different, but very easy to find specs on that.

you apparently don't understand why I am doing what I am. I don't have $1000 for an H23A and another $1200 for a 5 speed with LSD. but I do have $400 invested so far in an engine build that is possible and will make more power than a stock H23A, which at their best made 200hp.

Think what you must, but your estimates are far off. Once again, read, do some research, double or triple your figures, and you'll be in the ballpark for a reliable build. Save some $ up, sell what you have, and just do the H23A VTEC swap, it's really the lesser of your options $ wise and will get you what you want, with 100000x the ease AND reliability of a factory engine.

I'm with Chrisnick on this one. you've got $400 in it but you'll need several hundred more just to reach your power goal, much less do so reliably. in the end you're likely to have more in it than a swap would cost you. your expectation is more power, but that may not be guaranteed.

don't get me wrong I think the H22 and the H23 are good engines, but I think the F23 has the short block they should have had. if I was to swap one of those, the first thing I would do after I get the engine is tear it apart and have it sleeved. and that is not cheap. I work on cars with strange cylinder liners and cylinder wall applications, I don't trust them. the reliable engines have iron sleeves and there is a reason for that.
