Re: F22b DOHC
Block or entire engine?
F22B blocks are all the same.... therefore F22B blocks are a dime a dozen. Probably not worth much more than a buck-fiddy.
Just for shytes & giggles I googled F22B block for sale and I found a thread in an H-T market place forum.
guess who?
No joke! I tinkled a bit when I read, and laughed at, this comment. Rare *** JDM yo! It's an F22B "extremely short" block. It's about as rare as every other 1990-1997 F22 short block sitting in junkyards across North America.
OP if your lookign for a DOHC F22B you should contact an importer, tigerjapanese, Hmotors etc..etc...

My Dime a Dozen Coment wasnt meant to bash anyone or be rude.. I was simply stating the these Engines are everywhere and im not sure why anyone would go through the trouble of sourcing one on the interwebs when you can pick em up at your local salvage for chump change..
Lighten up...

Re: F22b DOHC
Yeah I know, you'll need at least an 89-90mm piston. 86mm just isn't going to cut it for 2.6L. So are you or are you not trying to sell this block now? Sounds more like you want to build it. If it were up to me, I'd keep it. Rather than give it away for $100.

Re: F22b DOHC
The f22B DOHC is a kinda-sorta Hseries, kinda-sorta Fseries engine. It's the red-headed bastard stepchild of both. No one really claims fatherhood of this offspring, and DNA test prove inconclusive. The F22B DOHC is not quite a H23, because there are wierd quirks with the block, itself. it's more like someone custom casted a DOHC head for a SOHC block. If you have ever dealt with an old OBD0 Civic motor called the DOHC ZC engine, you know EXACTLY what I mean.
