Default f22a block with a 93 si prelude head

does anybody know if you can take a 1991 honda accord f22 block and put a DOHC non-vtec prelude head on it. like a 93 si head of that year of prelude?

not without a good bit of work. the bores are different.

are the bores that much differnt that i couldn't put it on with out doing anything to the stroke or bore size

2mm different. the head has to be welded.

have you seen it done before or have you did. is it even worth putting time and money into i already have the head and extra parts for it.

considering people swap heads around on the B series with >2mm bore size differences ... thats a non issue.

i know a shop that has done it...with the cost of parts (them supplying the head) and labor....it makes more sense to jsut save a few hundred more, and buy an h22a then put it in yourself.

well when i asked the question i was in the middle of doing the swap. i finished it this weekend and i ended up only having around 500 or 600 dollars in it was a little less than a h22a but i wanted to do this because i have never seen it done and i wanted to do something different i'm getting it dyno tested some time this week to see how much whp gain i got from it but so far the engine runs great and i can deffently tell that it gain alot from the stock motor
