f22 belts ??

Re: f22 belts ??
Take a string, run it around the main pulley and the alternator (or what ever goes with the ac on an f22), get the measurements of that string in inches and goto advanced auto with your old one and tell em you want one of the same width and teeth but only X amount of inches.
This is what I did to have an ac bypass belt.
You basically gotta get the measurement of the belt with out the ac.
When you fit the belt make sure it doesn't touch anything or it'l cut it self when it spins.

I've seen a mini me swap on a f22 what is the diffulty level of that? Is there a big enough HP and or torque increase to make it worth the time and money or should I step it up a little and do a turbo build?

I assume they are referring to putting a SOHC F Series VTEC head onto a F Series non-VTEC block. That would be the closest thing to a D series "mini-me" swap.

yeah the f22b1 (SOHC VTEC) head on any f22a block I've seen it done before. I was look at the F20a and b swap seem very easy and cheap. Most of it is plug and play. I can't find a turbo kit for less than a grand, and I much rather drop that on an h22, but I wont have that amount of cash for awhile.

Re: f22 belts ??
haha right on! I found three CB7s one was a 91 LX 4door with 236kmiles and I couldn't get the guy to go under 1800!! The second was a 92 with 291k!!, needed a new battery and all new belts... YEAH the guy wouldn't go less then 1700!!! But in the end there was a light at the end of the tunnel with the third being a 91 LX 2door army green, lowered, sway bars front and back, newer motor with 49k on and all it needs is a starter for 950!

Gates and Dayco have been around FOREVER and are suppliers to a number of auto manufacturers (just like like Moog, TRW, Eaton, Dana, Federal Mogul, Timken, and other parts makers). If they supply auto manufacturers (as in supply part x to Honda, GM, whoever for their new cars) I trust 'em.
What's five dollars to upgrade to a better part? Being an enthusiast I'm sure most guys here are picky about their oil, and I'm sure that your Castrol synthetic and mobil1 filter costs more than "generic oil and generic oil filter for $9.99 deal".
