F20B or H22A swap
I have a 1995 Accord EX Coupe and I want to swap either a F20B or H22A with lsd transmission. Now I've read up that I could use my stock wiring harness aside from adding 2 or 3 wires. I'm also going to get the lsd tranny but I still have a couple for questions:
Would I be able to use the 92-96 axles from the prelude or do I have to use the Accord axles? What companies actually make stronger axles for our Accords?
Also, what wires would I be adding in to complete the swap and is the F20B just completely drop in? What would be required for doing the swap.
How would I make my swap legal besides keeping all the emmissions equiment & usdm Prelude ecu?
Thanks. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: F20B or H22A swap (Andrew SIR)
You could either of those swaps, or you could simply build and turbo what you have.
the cost for such an endevour could be more or less than a straight swap with only the cost to install it properly. It really depends how much footwork you are willing to do to get the best prices and how much work you actually perform yourself, ie, sweat equity.
a mildly built f22 can produce amazing torque (for 2156cc).

Re: F20B or H22A swap (ForceThis!)
Money isn't really a problem. My friend and I would actually be doing the swap, but I just would like to get the fitment issues as well as wiring locked down before we decide to get all the parts. We are experienced mechanics but as for motor swaps, it's not something we do everyday. We just need a little more info before the project begins.

You need to use your accord axles for the H22 swap. At least thats what is needed for the 4 gen. For stronger axles i dunno the driveshaft shop??? There is a person with a 604HP 4gen on HT running stock OEM axles. For the F20B i am clueless but im sure there are quite a few people on here that can help you. To make it legal when you do inspection you gotta show them your paperwork and that you purchased the motor legally or something like that if i remember correctly.
