Re: Exhast (96Sedan)
I agree with 96sedan. This is one of those cases when Bigger isn't always better.
One of the more important things which effect engine performance is a phenomenon called exhaust scavenging. It's based on two priciples; momentum and velocity.
The engine scavenges spent exhaust gases, not only by the exhaust stroke, but by monentary vacume behind the exhaust valve when it opens / caused by the proceeding exhaust pulses as they pass thru the exhaust system and the momentum of those gases.
In effect, the bigger the pipe, the slower the gases thru it. You loose exhaust scavenging when the pipe gets too big.
Even with a turbo installation, you'll maybe see a 3" pipe max.

Re: Exhast (P_Adams)
I agree with P as well. Although IMO if your car is not or is not going to be heavily modded the closer to 2" the better. I had 2 1/4 on a stock accord and did not much care for it. Stock piping if not mistaken is 1 7/8 or 1 3/4.
Although you are not going to sacrifice a lot by going 2 1/4. Just don't buy el cheapo from ebay. Get it from somewhere with a better reputation.
Just my 2 cents.
