erg and port passages
ok this is for all the honda lovers who know what they are doing ive seen on here that if you pull up the egr value the car will shut off and if it dont then the passageway ports are clogged well my car didnt shut off so i cleaned out the ports and cleaned the egr so how when i pull up the egr the car will act like its going to shut off but it dont so is my intake still clogged up or is the egr bad but i dont think the egr is bad because the way the motor acts when you pull the value up so anyone know what the hell is going on here

while i fully agree with all points mentioned here, a little kindness never hurt....lol....basically if its still not functioning right something in the egr passages may still be dirty or the valve may in going bad

OP, I believe your EGR valve is ok. It should sputter or like it's going to die when you lift the pintle off it's seat inside the EGR. Thats what the motor should do.
