Clutch cable is pretty easy to adjust. If you follow the cable down to the tranny, just before where the cable attaches to the realease arm, there is a large (about 1 inch) plastic nut. If I remember correctly, clockwise tightens the cable and counterclockwise loosens it. If it hasn't been adjusted for a loooong time and there's currently no pedal freeplay, you may need to put a jack under the release arm and raise it up just a couple inches to release the pressure from the cable, then loosen the nut. Take the jack out and adjust the nut until there is about 1 inch of freeplay in the pedal. The nut sets down inside a rubber grommet thingy that keeps it from turning, so press the pedal down a few times to get it set in there before measuring the freeplay. If it's off, just repeat the above until it's where you want it. It takes quite a bit of fiddling to get it just right, but it's not hard at all.
