Re: (skingfreak)
I have roughly $5k in the swap including all the new parts that were purchased and all the extra stuff that was needed in order to finalize everything. However I got lucky on a lot of things. The motor and trans were from a 2003 CL type-S and the LSD is the factory one. I still love driving the car but I don't get to very often because I did not bring it here with me to my A school. I can answer any questions that you all have. So just let me know.

Did you do the swap your self? besides the wiring. I am just interested in the fitment for know. Would you be able to give a list of what custom parts you needed. and prices for the basic. Like how much you spent on the motor/tranny/ecu?
I know its a lot of information But I know everyone wants to know these things and you are the one with answers.

You can read the sidewall in one of the pics. BFGoodrich Traction T/A's. And from an earlier post:

Yeah I did the swap myself with some wiring help from Aidan at 5150autosports. The fitment was not bad, except for the hood clearance and a few things with other aftermarket parts. For the list of parts, I don't know cause I have a lot of stuff on mine that was not stock to begin with so my list would be different. As for a basic list to do the swap i would have to put some serious time into it because of the amount of parts that have to be used from the cl-s. You should expect to spend anywhere from 2k-4k on just parts not including the motor and trans and ecu.

Re: (-RedneckDave-)
well if you could I know most of the accord community would love it if you could list out everything you needed. like the stock cl-s and anything that had to be custom made or modified.
Thank you in advance.

you used ur stock mounts right? did you have to relocate any of the mounting locations?
also, for the 6speed tranny did you use the tranny mounts off the CL-S 6 speed?
Thanks alot

Yeah I used the stock accord mounts, but they did not last and so I have some custom solid mounts that I need to install, but I am not with my car right now so I can't put them in. I did use the CL-S 6 speed mounts for the trans as well. No all the mounting points were fine. Honestly the hardest part was figuring out what to do about wiring.

yeah you have to use the cl-s ecu and wiring harness and then mate it to the accord harness which is very difficult to say the least.

Re: (philadd)
congrats man! you will love it i had my swap for awhile now and i couldn't say anything bad about it. Same shop that gave you info did my swap (and 3 more guys...) the mods here moved my "swap thread" that i just opened and been told that since my thread contain pictures it belongs to apperance/cosmetic thread i wonder why they consider a swap "cosmetic" ?
anyway, like i said congrats, and i feel that this motor/tranny swap can post a lot of potential specially with a turbo. i'm pushing 359hp and 323tq @ 9psi on my supercharger and my #1 problem is traction i get a lot of wheelspin as 290 foot of torque comes very early @ 2500RPM. I will pitched in any info in a future (that i know) to help others become successful too upon doing this swap. peace...
