canadian 90 accord EX MPG issues.
I know some of you are from the forums CB7tuner.com, so im posting here for some more options...
Latley since i got my performance upgrades (intake, exhaust muffler, and header) I notice my MPG is ****.
Here is the list of what i have replaced so far.
Fuel filter
Air filter
Spark plugs and wires
Dizzy replaced 50K ago
O2 sensor (replaced with one from JY was an emergency run)
cleaned out my cat as much as i could
alternator
alt and p\s belts
T-stat & gasket
temp sensor and SENDER
battery
home made ground kit
cleaned out my IACV
I have yet to do my timing belt and im kicking myself in the *** for not doing it just yet. Im looking for a little more insight on this situation, im currently getting 350 KILOMETERS per tank on my Accord. It seems that i have a problem... durrrrr?
i have tried everything i can think of, and im leaning towards the O2 sensor, it was replaced with a JY sensor that i had to get as an emergency... (i screwed up the bung on my header, i had to get a new one welded, and i needed an o2 to get the car out of my garage, didnt have all the money for a new one at the time) Now, when im going, and i put it to the floor, i notice alot of exhaust fumes behind me, since its -35 right now, its pretty easy to see, but comparing it to everyone else that has an accord, im dishing out 3-4X more then they are, and when i pulled the tube off my muffler that was going outside, it was full of water/condensation, i actually had to mop it up...
Im looking for some information on what to look for, as im totally stumped. Im told its the o2, and to get one from the dealer, but the dealer O2 is like 300 bucks, where as the Bosch one is like 100 bucks my cost, but they tell me bosch is bad for O2's.... Im clueless and in need of guidance....
