Default can tein lower this much? *pics inside)

well i just bought this accord not to long ago and it looks really low for tein springs..so here r some pics of the car...

i dont get why the back sits lower then the front..the front rides great but the back is pretty bouncy..im thinkin maybe the shocks in the back r blown so maybe thats why it sits lower in the back..any opiniions?

The back is probably sitting on the bumpstops. I wouldn't be surprised to find cut springs in there.
BTW you probably should find a fuel door...

yea thats what im thinkin..i think they r cut springs..i cant really tell tho..cuz he painted the car and there is over spray all over the springs so im thinkin maybe im gunna have to take a wheel off and rub gas over the springs to see if they r even tein springs or not

they might be if they were coilovers... did he tell you how much they cost? cause they're usually round 2000 dollars??? I think... all I remember is they're expensive. But I pick door number 2 witht the cut springs though... that sux if they are... goog luck with you accord.

[edit] if I remember right tein springs only lower around 1.5 - 2 inches... but I think the coilovers can be as much as 3inches

Nope it will not fit.

And you could have some blown shocks due to cut springs. Tein springs are lowered 2"front and 1.4"rear. So the rear should be higher.

They sure as heck don't ride good. The progressive spring rate is there for a reason. A lot of my co workers ride on cut springs. I laugh at all of them...

dood...from the post you have made..and how depressed you sound..I'd venture a guess not to belive anything that dood told you about your H22 accord.......work with what you got..basically fixing all the fuukered up **** the previous owner did...like your suspeension, a gas door for chriss sakes, give the gar a tune up, checke for covered up body damage...

But I know the real reason you posted this thread you wanted to show us all your new ride...its's cool man..I understand and I wholehartedly welcome you to the world of accords....to bad you got introduced after getting reammed by the guy you traded you s10 for.....but w.e ever car got potential..just start fresh

oh and cover your license plate when you post pics...just my 2 cents

It's all good man.

Do some research on suspension and put money there first

Along that do regular maintenance and get it all up to date.

You could also consider swapping an h22 at some point, or a full F22B1 swap.
