Default Can anyone help me out

On the tachometer connection under the hood on a Accord with the Hitachi dist. Does anyone know what kind of voltage reading to they get? Is it 12v or 10v? thanks

you mean a tach voltage? if so, it should be between 1v to 6v. most likely 4v or higher.

Their is a wire under the hood around by the shock tower. It has a rubber cap over it. It is used for hooking up tachometer to service the car. I checked the voltage on it and I get 10 V. I checked the voltage on an accord LX and got 12V. I have an EX and am having spark problems. I dont know if the igniter is bad or what.
