Default Brakes question!!

Hello fellowship of the accord.. !

Im planning to get Brembo blanks, my concern is installing them in the front..
It appears so called engineers made things complicated for nothing..My question is; As anyone did this job by themselves? Anything i should know about?
I have an brand new left bearing that i dont want to mess up, and i have a right blown one that i dont give a **** about lol.. I'm gonna have it replaced soon, before or after the brake job that i want to do by myself.
I can have access to some garage equipment, i have Haynes, and Honda Accord factory shop manuel. But i would like to have comments/help/feedback/tips/cares from realistic, living, souls like all of us.. lol

Thank you very much

how hard depends on whether you have bolts that are stuck or not. The 4 bolts going thru the hub to the rotor were frozen so I had a hell of a time getting them apart.

for the bearing, easiest way is to take the whole unit off the car and to a shop to have them pressed out and new ones in. you should do the right side if its bad too, saves yourself a hassle if u have to replace it later anyways.

There are different ways of doing it. Some people use a slide hammer and stuff. I took the unit off and had things done w/ it off the car.

you will need the axle nut, and a big breaker bar or air tools. The axle nut is a tuff one to get off.

basically remove the wheel, remove the whole shock unit (dont have to undo or take it apart, just off the car because it blocks something). You should loosen the 4 bolts on the hub to the rotor before anything off the car (its hard to loosen later). I popped the upper and lower ball joints loose, along w/ the tie rod, and took the knuckle off the car. Then I used longer bolts (10x1.25 pitch x 60mm), threaded them into the back of the old bearing and tapped the whole bearing/hub/rotor out of the knuckle. From there you can just undo the 4 bolts to take the rotor off, and then take the hub+bearing to a shop to have a new bearing pressed in. I had my lower ball joints replaced at the same time since my knuckle was off the car already, your choice on that.

reinstall is reverse of it.

some guys use a slide hammer and yank the things off the car w/o removing the knuckle. I found it easier to just take it off, up to you.

i will have no choice to replace my bearing.. would you suggest me to have it replaced before i do the brakes? Im gonna have it done to the dealer like my left one, but since they will dissamble it it shouldnt be too stuck, right? Do i risk damaging my new bearing while i take off/install my new discs?
