Default Body kit versus weight

I've heard different thing about body kits and a few of them look really great. I can see a difference between body and lip kits but in weight wise how much heavier is a full body kit then a lip kit. Will it be a noticable difference in performance. These cars are heavy without a bodykit so how much of a difference will it make. Its also 2 inches lowered so with a body kit (i already scrape here and there when im driving around) how much room will i have between the road and my body kit. and on top of all of this it doesnt do anything performance wise but it looks so good. What do you all recommend? How much does a decent kit cost?

I drive a gen5 accord with a f22b1 with only CAI.

Edit: ive been looking at a few on westwing.com, i didnt look at prices though.

as far as weight goes, i dont think a body kit will add that much weight. i recently put on a mugen style front lip on my 97. the lip itself weighs probably 3 lbs give or take. as far as clearance issues goes, its a real pain. i have a 2.5 inch drop, and the front lip gives me 2 or 3 inches of clearance. forget it if you have to get onto steep driveways. gotta be careful on speed bumps too. i bought the lip for 90 bucks, and truthfully, i'd rather have more clearance than a dope look.

i scrape without a kit in my own drive way right now. im sure i can get in there without scraping, the same way i get in and out now. and there are a few places i drive that are pretty bad but i can avoid them. If weight wont be such an issue then i might just go for it. How hard is it to put on the car? I should beable to do it by myself right?

i hate being a trial user, 5 posts a day really sucks!

if you already sorta scrape without a kit then you will for sure scrape with the kit

yea you should be able to do it yourself, if you buy the lip. its just a matter of unbolting the factory lip and bolting on the aftermarket.
