Bisimoto vs Delta?
I'm rebuilding an f22a4 for my accord, and I'm planning on upgrading the cam and valve springs. I've heard good things about Bisimoto and Delta, and have been to both of theyre websites. Bisimoto seems a little more Honda specific than Delta, but what are the opinions on these two? and are there any others i should consider? thanks.

I don't know too much about delta but folks here on the forum adore Bisi, and from the dynos I have seen, I can understand why..
In the end, make a purchase you are comfortable with.. but most certainly, bisimoto is a great choice..

I'd go Bisi. Delta sounds too cheap(Like a Ebay brand) to me, but I've heard others using it with no problem though.
I had a Level 2 VTEC cam in my F22B1 motor, and it was a fun car to drive, but I went a different route.

I wouldn't go far enough to say that it sounds like an ebay brand. Delta has been around for a while and plenty of people support their product.

If you know the specs of the cam that you are looking for it's pretty easy to have a cam ground or hard welded for you. I have had 2 cam grinds done, one was a re-grind and the other a hard weld. The hard weld is a bit more expensive than a regrind.
If you know what you want out of your motor, or more specifically, the specs of your cam. Web Cams or Delta should be able to help you out. Give them a call/email I'm sure they will be more than happy to give you some information.
Check out Web Cam Inc. for yourself!

Re: Bisimoto vs Delta?
When it comes to accord performance, no one does it better than Bisimoto. We have web perform our grinds to our specs perfected on the dyno, street and track, and the prices are superb.
The other company mentioned has had issues with idling, ideal powerbands, and they use V8 grinds on Hondas (actually, the very same grinds on multiple applications). How can they properly design camshafts when they do not even know the rocker ratios of the engines in question?
If you desire a camshaft that is tailored for your setup, and proven on the street/strip and dyno, then Bisimoto engineering is your best choice. Afterall, we do have the fastest and most reliable F22 engines on the planet!

Re: Bisimoto vs Delta?
Let's say you got 200$ extra go ahead and get bisimoto great company with great hp numbers on their cam ,but price not for my pocket . But delta been around for a while and never ever have I heard any problems with them . Bisimoto 2.4 is the same thing as delta 272 2 . If you want the name go bisi if you want cheap go delta simple as that

bisi is a the mad scientist of the f22. i would not trust delta over bisi any day because i know bisi loves honda and delta probably just loves money.

LOL this is an old thread but you are right much time and testing went into the development of all the Bisimoto camshafts throughout the years and are even far superior than before and available for more than just the F-series power plant

Re: Bisimoto vs Delta?
why if bisi has so much time and testing, i would think he would post the crap out of the results he does every thing else. i have said it before and i will say it agian i dont think the cam has any R&D.But i do think it will work because bisi knows what he is doing on f22s so well.
