Icon3 Been through 4 (7.5A) fuses in 1hr

So my interior (courtesy light, dome light, map light) fuse went out randomly yesterday night. I bought some replacement 7.5A ones today and went through 4 of them already.

One thing to remember I've been having a complete LED lit interior for almost 3 years now.

The question is should I get a higher rated fuse or could there be something wrong with my wiring? I feel like this all happened after I blasted my music too loud, like as if the dual sub-woofers shook the car soo much that it short circuited a wire.

lol no seriously will a fuse with a higher amp rating help? I haven't tried it yet. I just miss my interior lighting up. It sucks having no light.

No. There is a problem with that circuit. Installing a larger fuse defeats the purpose of having a fuse. Locate the problem and fix it.

what mad mike said. dont screw around. locate the short. you can under rate a fuse but never over rate it. ie use a 5A fuse if you need to but DO NOT use a 10A

Installing a larger fuse will make it incredibly worse. Then you are allowing more power to flow through before it pops - which could result in an electrical fire or wires melting.
