anyone's hood latch kinda loose? cd accords
my 95 coupe has a loose hood latch and i dontthink it can be adjusted. basically my hood closes and stays closed fine but there is some play where the hood moves slightly when closed.
when i start in first gear and i dont give it enough gas it vibrates and makes some noise. any suggestions besides buying a new one or a used one? thanks

there are little round rubber things in the front corners. You can turn them to adjust height up and down. Just bring them up a little and see if that makes the hood close a little more snug.

If it doesnt stay shut, spray some PB Blaster in the latch and all the little springs. Its an all purpose greaser like WD40. Dont ask me HOW it works, but for some reason it worked mericles when my hood latch wouldnt stay closed.
Its a $5 can, and it fixes some crazy problems.
