Anyone running air ride or bags on the accord?
I don't not have a accord but I do have a 98 Acura cl. I'm thinking about running some type of air ride set up. Could anyone give me any advise on a air bag or strust system? Anyone run into alot of problems or run them year around?

Re: Anyone running air ride or bags on the accord?
i got air stuts on my 94 accord (front/back). 2 VIAIR Compressors, 8 gallon tank, 4 stuts, 2 switches, and lines. No major problems with it yet, have had it for over a year. only little problem is that when the weather is cold the air inside the tank condenses. so it'll drop by itself (me having a bodykit, i have to be careful) you just have to refill the tank 2X then no problems after. thats mostly in the mornings when i have to do that.
any other questions you have let me know.

What brand are you running and how much did it run you. I hate the fact that when struts and bags got popular the price went up. Personally I'm only tryn to spend $1500

Air struts do not fit properly and will not go very low. Cans ride like crap. For any Honda hydros are the only way to go. A single pump with accumulators kit sells for $1600. Contact Hydroholics they are good people http://hydroholics.net/1-5-kits.html

I've had a 85 regal with hydrolics. I didn't like blowing solenoids, the oil slick they left, the fabrication, welding and constantly charging the barrteries. I like struts and bags because it's all mechanical and wiring. Also there is no oil mess during use.

Re: Anyone running air ride or bags on the accord?
seriously i got my accord with the bags already but my friend just bought a new set of air bags for about 1500. came with 4 bags, 4 struts, 2 chrome 8 gallon tanks, 2 viair compressors, lines, valves for front/back/side-to-side/pancake, and switch box. only thing i'd recomemd is to get thicker air lines that come with the kit. my friend already ripped all of his, mine are pretty thick and no problms.
i have steady ride with struts, you just have to adjust it to the right hight (u'll get used to it after driving for a week or two). i dont know if the go really low since i have a body kit on mine but my tires (18s) go all the way into the tirewall and my bodykit sits flat on the ground. with that being said, my car doesnt move a bit when i have it slammed and try to take off. low enuf for me

I found a bagged cl on seattle craigslist. I sent him email but he will not respond. I also found a few kits on Los Angles craigslist but im in michigan. I cant trust that. Also i feel $2000 is way too much. Hopefully i can find a kit for $1200. If not ill have to go coil over.
