LMAO at that comment when he wants to put aftermarket filter at the end of his stock air tube.

I would also remove the resonator section from down in the front bumper.

Jack up your car and take off the front wheel... take out the wheel well and then start unbolting/ removing all the intake mess.

I've done it before, and it worked quite well. Improved the throttle response, and it was pretty good.

oh and to add there may be a vac. line going down into the fender to that resonator box you remove.... follow it back to its source on the intake manifold or whatnot and cap it.

all honestly, get a good filter and custom cold box the oem one that 30$ spent on a intake couldve went to a k&n filter... itll be just as good.

thats what I did somewhat... but I threw a k&n filter in the oe intake box and then cut the bottom open to pickup the air out of the front fender where I removed the junk resonator box.

looked stock and ran great... also had a conservative looking apexi catback and small shot of nitrous to get me by till I boosted this pig.

you need some special tools called a wrench and a brain to take that out. Good luck.
