Accord Radio Code
Hey HT,
I got a 2000 Accord that just recently got a new alternator, so all the electrical in the car is reset. Now the radio is asking for the code. I tried calling my local dealer but they want me to go in and charge me money.
I hear that there's a way to get the radio code directly from the radio. Does anyone know how to do this???
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks...Danny

They will think you stole it if you do this, go there in person and have you're registration with you to prove you own the car.

Most people drive in to get their code in the car that needs it. If someone shows up with just a radio or serial # it is our stores policy to ask for registration and drivers license.

check inside your glove department.
mine was sticker inside it.
But if you don't have it.. Just get the Serial#, and proof of ownership.
It's free... but if they have to get the serial then they'll charge you...
