accord owners assemble!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hey guy, I own a 97 accord, I've been doing a couple little mods like HIDs headlight blackhousing, painting valve cover, new paint on car, and I just rebuilt the head on the car.
But now I want to do something I haven't done before, lowering the car, I've been thinking coilovers but I've seen the prices and it's a bit expensive, any suggestions? Comments?
Anything I should look at in specific?
I need your guys expertise!!!

Unless you want it slammed or plan on doing some weight jacking. Opt for some Eibach lower springs and Koni or Bil shocks.

do you know if the Eibach lowering spring and Koni shock combo make the right a bit smoother as well, as in like not jumpy?

Re: accord owners assemble!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If the ride is jumpy and its not from blown shocks, check your suspension bushings.
If the sway bar bushings are worn the car will float and lean badly around corners.
Rear sway bar drop link bushings are available from Honda, only a couple bucks each, no need to replace the whole link unless it is damaged.
Check out Majestic Honda for bushing locations and prices. Sway bar bushings for front and back will be ~60 bucks shipped for all 16 sway bar bushings.
1" drop Eibach/Koni combo will firm up the ride a bit but should not cause any undue comfort issues.
