accord to acura CL front end conversion.
i have a 97 accord ex 2 door. I heard that the front end of the acura cL is a bolt on affair to my accord. i would really like to know if it is true. I dont want any opinions, i just want to know if it is a bolt on affair and if so what year would work with the 94-97 accord two door model. thanks

LMAO.. thats the funniest thing i have ever read!!! you need to do some research there buddy
1. they dont make aftermarket headlights, projectors, blacked out etc are all CUSTOM PULL THE LIGHTS APART JOBS.
2. there are only 10 acura cl carbon fiber hoods in the WHOLE world and they are 600+ dollars new, good luck prying them from some acura dudes dead fingers!!
3. aftermarket fenders dont exist either, your looking at atleast 150 per side for OEM parts
4. body kit LOL, theres only 1 body kit, the black widow kit. the company that made them has only sold about 5 of them because they are SOOO UGLY!! even if you did buy that body kit the side skirts and rear wouldnt fit cuz the side skirts would have to be from an accord wagon, and you'd have to add 6-10 inches of fiber glass to make it fit an accord cuz cl's are skinnier
but thanks you made my night, cheap cl parts, HAHAHAHAHHAHA

Re: (JDM4DRACCORD)
yes it is a bolt on affair to answer your question...custom carbon fiber hoods are the only ones made, and i haven't heard of many shops willing to make them...but if you find a front clip from a junkyard, then sure, go for it...

Yes it is a Direct Bolt on Affair, I'm sorry so many people questioned your creativity by trying to dismiss your idea trying to tell you how expensive it will be. On a side note know that all the interior is a bolt on affair as well some of these cars had navigation that took place of the whole stereo assembly which looks very nice, I've personally only seen a couple of these at junkyards in the PDX area and usually it's cause of a accident. Hopefully you can find a rear ended one. If not there are other options like the aftermarket and for those that say there's no aftermarket parts, they are lying I can get the fenders for 99$ ea. and the headlights for 300$ for a set then hid for the highs and lows for 120$ I can get the marker lenses for 50$ so all you need is a hood, grille and front bumper I found a OEM used bumper skin for 200$ grille for 110$ OEM and hood OEM for 300$ it is spendy but it would look hella cool and I can paint for around 350-400 base coat/clear coat no single stage junk. Now before I get a thousand comments on how Single stage paint isn't junk, "My grandpa has been shooting it forever with no issues." To that I say Bravo but it's still junk, especially when shooting metallics. The only time this painter squirts single stage is when someone wants a 200$ paint job. Thats because you can buy a gallon of single stage junk from 50-75$. I hope this helps and if you want anymore advice or help locating parts email me hillsboroautobrokersllc@gmail.com

for the record cl parts arent expensive if you know where to buy...front bumper is around $200, headlights about $175 for the blackhoused ones, hood maybe $50 from a yard or other parts car

My question is opposite could I put Honda Accord headlight housings in 1999 Acura cl?(only if needed I like my cl housing but they are expensive to replace and really suck at sending the light to the road evenly) could I buy a lip for the front bumper of an Accord and would it fit on my CL these are the questions 😂
