Accord '93 Front wheel noise
Greetings,
The driver side fornt wheel started to make a noise that icreases with speed similar to the noise that the old car axle used to make when it has a problem.
The noise is very evident on speeds 70 km/h and above.
I took a quick look at the cv boot but to my surprise it was not damaged.
Could the cv axle produce such a noise even though the boot is still intact?
Moreover, there is no clicking noise when making a full right/left turns.
If not then could it be the front bearing or some thing else?
Is there a way to test an verify?
Thanks,
Ista

Re: Accord '93 Front wheel noise (istabrak)
definitely check the wheel bearing.
On your car its kind of a pain in the *** to replace because its pressed on the hub, and the hub is bolted to the rotor.

Re: Accord '93 Front wheel noise (S CARTER)
Thanks for your reply.
What is the best way to replace the bearing? should I take out the hub and take it to shop to get the new one installed in?
Or is there another way to DIY at home?
regards,
Ista
