'99 Accord, Check Engine Light....Code P1457....how to fix?
Hey everyone...looking for some serious help from your knowledge and expertise.
My wife's '99 Accord check engine light has been on....went to Autozone and they pulled a code of P1457. Anyone know how I can fix this?
After they pulled and cleared the code...we drove home about 15 minutes and it didn't come back on again. Any hints?
Thanks in advance,
Josh from MN

P1457 = EVAP control system leak near canister
a place to start would be to check your lines near the canister for leaks...

More then likely its a bad CVS valve. Its located on the charcole canister it self. They are natoriuse for going bad. First place to check
