I was told by a private source that he had people order the Cusco Type OS front upper bar and the Cusco front lower bar (Type I) that are listed for the 99-03 3.2TL and install them on a 98-02 Accord...I just want to make sure this interchangebility is accurate before spending over 250 in parts....

from what i know that i work at a japanese parts shop with my dad we've sold the 98-02 accord/99-03 3.2 TL control arms to each other meaning we took a TL control arm and sold it to an accord and it was the same exact thing same ALSO with the shocks(front and back that is) but the accord has to be the V6 model. Soo these parts that we've sold are just stock used replacments and we've had no problems with em so if u ask me i think it should work but lets just see what the rest of h-t has to say should be the same

Several parts are interchangeable between the 99-03 TLs and 98-02 V6 Accords. I believe the TL strut bar is compatible on the V6 Accord, but maybe someone else who has tried it can chime in.

Sorry for not being specific enough but the Accord is a 4 cylinder.....

almost all suspension components are the same. you can use those parts on the 4cyl model no problem. the 4cyl isn't any different from the v6 accord or the 3.2 tl suspension wise.

The strut bar from a TL/Accord V6 does not fit on the 4cyl Accord. I believe the issue is clearance of the engine, but it ultimately depends on the model of strut bar.

that is not true. there is plenty of room for the strut bar. strut bars, struts, coilovers, sway bars, etc. are all interchangeable. springs are even interchangeable, its just the spring rates on the front. the rear springs have the same part numbers 4cyl to v6.

Yes I do agree with you that all the coilovers, sways, springs, shocks are interchangeable, but some strut bars are not interchangeable. Like I said it depends on the brand. Some ebay bars will fit both while some others will not fit.

According to the Accord FAQ, the TLS and CLS strut bars are compatible with the 6th gen Accords.

I have a 98-02 Accord V6 strut bar and it fits perfectly on my car(4CYL).. and there is no difference. Also why would you put a shitty bar(ebay) on a car.

I know this is an ancient thread but just wanted to add the info for anyone interested.....I can verify that the sway bar, bushings/mounts and end links from the 04 TL 6 cyl manual (the 22mm bar) fits the 6th gen Accord sedan 4 cyl.

Okay question? Will the 2005 tl type s spindle be able to fit my 99 accord I bought TLS brembos and was wondering if the spindle swap is compatible yes ik I could get RL brembos and just get the brackets but these have a cleaner look to me thanks in advance
