Default 97 LX Header

I have been wanting to get a header for a 97 Accord LX (F22B2) but I have been hearing that some accords from 97 had some kind of chassis change. I'm wondering what mods do I have to do. I have been looking at the DC header since its the only one that "fits" an LX. I had purchased one from some other company but the O2 sensor didn't have enough clearance between the header and front engine mount to fit.

you could just get a stock 94-97 EX exhaust manifold and downpipe. Basically the same as the DC header. You just have to extend the o2 sensor wires to the end of the downpipe since thats where the o2 sensor is located on the EX.

In that case, then im just going to get the Megan ones
$189.95
since they are for the EX will they fit? assuming that all they will need O2 sensor wire extension

The thing is finding a stock EX 95-97 header here in OR is not easy, junk yards here dont have much of anything beyond 1995 thats an import, and if they do they are gutted or its another Kia.

they should fit. On the EX there is a small exhaust pipe section between the downpipe and the cat that houses the o2 sensor. So as long as the Megan header replaces that part as well then all you need to do is extend the o2 wires to reach the new location.

I had a 95 EX but I never replaced the manifold or downpipe with a aftermarket header so I don't know if that one small pipe gets replaced or not, so I just figured I would throw that out there so you are aware of it.
