97 Accord 4cyl EX Clutch Pedal Falls To Floor
my 97 Accord ran fine my clutch was worn but still worked fine. I parked it for 4 days now the clutch pedal falls right to the floor. The master cylinder is very low and what is left is greyish fluid. There are no puddles or signs of puddles on the ground. Did the clutch itself fail or just the master cylinder. I am kinda new to this so any help would be appreciated thanks.

Re: 97 Accord 4cyl EX Clutch Pedal Falls To Floor
could be a bad slave cylinder, bad master cylinder, bad clutch lines, bad pressure plate, or bad Throw out bearing. More likely the cylinders or lines, so check the cylinders for leaks.

i have the same car. it had the same problem. over time your clutch will wear and it willend up using more fluid to calibrate itself and you may not even see a leak. just add some clutch fluid keep the cap off the master cylinder and pump the clutch up til it gets hard again. it will restore itself to the corrrect stiffness after pumping a while and you may have to do it with your hand if the clutch isnt returning to upright position.have a buddy look while your pumping too see if your resovoir bubbles "burps" any air. this is an indication of air in the line and it may need to be bled. but my bet is you just need to top it off and get to pumpin.

Check your master cylinder. Look inside the car by the clutch pedal to see if it is leaking. If it is leaking from the piston coming through the firewall then you need to replace it. I had this problem on my 92 accord and just re-bled the system and the car left me in the street a month later. Also check the slave cylinder.
