96 accord trouble starting
So I am having trouble getting my car to start most of the time. It was throwing three CEL (two coolant temp sensors and a neutral safety switch) until I changed the valve cover gasket and spark plugs (things that were overdue) and poured some lucas fuel injector cleaner into my gas tank. The first time starting my car afterwords was still a hassle to pull off but after that time it started perfectly fine for a week and about a day into that week my CEL turned off. Now I am back to it not starting right. I can get it to start I just have to keep making the engine crank and pump the gas pretty fast to get it to turn over. When it finally does turn over it runs really rough until I rev it up to about 3000 rpms. I am going to clean the throttle today but if that doesn't work I'm not sure where to go next. Considering it was running fine with lucas injector cleaner in my gas tank could it be that I need to clean or replace my fuel injectors? Also I'm not sure why I got those three CEL codes but they still haven't come back so I guess that's good. Aside from starting the car up everything else seems to be just fine.

Does the engine run well once warmed up? The coolant sensor could be related. If the coolant sensor fails in-range and warm, the ECU will think that the engine is already warm. If that is the case, it won't richen up the mixture and it will run a little rough until the engine gets warmer. A quick and dirty check would be to measure resistance of the coolant sensor when the engine is cold and warm and look for a change.
Other culprits include the IAC and FITV. Lots of youtube videos on those topics. I had a hard start problem which turned into a no start problem and tried those but no luck. It turned out to be a bad head gasket, which I found by pulling a plug. Hopefully, this is not the case for you.

Re: 96 accord trouble starting
the ohms for the coolant temperature sensor for a completely cold car should be around 2000-2500 and when the car is completely warmed up it should be 180-250 range...take the two prong sensor connector that is located under the distributor off and test the sensor for ohms cold across the two prongs then warm it up and test it when the fans started coming on
